About the Story

Twisted Existence was a story I conceived at the tender age of 14, almost 12 years ago as of this writing. For many years I wrote this story as a webcomic that never gained much traction in popularity, but it did help me improve my art style greatly.
I had never forgotton the story completely, but I did set it aside for many years until, a few months ago I realized how stagnant I'd gotten when it came to my artwork and writing. Then I remembered this story, a comic that I'd worked on and had accompanied me all throughout my teens, and thought it might be fun to attempt it again from a more "grown up" perspective, and hopefully get me back into drawing and writing as passionately as I was when I was in my teens, but this time I would attempt it as a novelization with some drawing accompanying the chapters instead of a full blown comic.

The name's Jessica Peregrym, I live in Ottawa, Ontario with my husband and some cats. In real life I'm an animator (or a "professional virtual puppeteer," as I like to call it) on a popular children's show. Currently life is all right.
